Overview:
GenPX is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support risk management, monitoring, and compliance for enterprise and government clients.
Location: United States / Remote
Employment: Full-Time / Contract

Role:
Security threats continue to evolve, and organizations require vigilant monitoring, risk reduction, and compliance alignment. The Cybersecurity Analyst will help protect client environments while supporting frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, RMF, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and investigate incidents
- Analyze vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts
- Maintain documentation for audits and compliance programs
- Support cloud and enterprise system security controls
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of cybersecurity experience
- Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners
- Understanding of NIST, CMMC, HIPAA, or SOC 2 controls
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Security+ or related certification preferred
