Workday Developer

Overview:

Description:

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations with internal and external enterprise systems.Develop integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Web Services, REST, and SOAP APIs.Build and maintain custom reports, Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, and calculated fields.Configure and support Workday business processes, security roles, domains, and integration security.Develop inbound and outbound integrations for employee, payroll, benefits, recruiting, finance, and other enterprise data.Work with XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, REST, SOAP, and web services for data transformation and system integrations.Troubleshoot integration failures, production issues, data discrepancies, and performance problems.Participate in Workday releases, regression testing, impact analysis, and production deployments.Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Security, and other business teams to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.Create technical specifications, integration mappings, test cases, deployment documentation, and support procedures.Ensure integrations comply with organizational security, privacy, data governance, and audit requirements.Monitor scheduled integrations and proactively resolve failures or data-quality issues.Follow development standards and change-management processes across Workday environments.

Special Requirements:

Position requires experience or education in the following skills:

  • 4+ years of experience with Workday development, integrations, or technical implementation.Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio and EIB.Experience with Core Connectors, Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration security.Strong knowledge of Workday HCM data structures and business processes.Experience developing complex Workday reports and calculated fields.Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, and web-service technologies.Experience troubleshooting and supporting Workday integrations in production environments.Understanding of Workday security concepts, including security groups, domains, business-process security, and ISU/ISSG configurations.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
