Description:
Build, configure, and maintain single site, Multisite, Cloud integrated Hybride IP network and Voice infrastructure models that measure GenPx Inc.’s clients data communication networks, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Duties include: Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex enterprise network infrastructures, integrating Cisco routing, switching, collaboration, and contact center technologies to ensure high availability and performance across multiple client sites, including hospitals, clinics, and call centers; Configure and optimize Cisco routers, switches, and voice gateways for advanced routing protocols, switching technologies, and IP voice connectivity; Deploy and manage Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) clusters, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco IM&P, and Cisco Expressway C & E (MRA-enabled) to support enterprise voice, video, and collaboration solutions, with integration to third-party tools; Implement and troubleshoot Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical traffic (voice, video, data, contact center) and ensure optimal network performance, along with Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) for voice failover in distributed networks; Provide troubleshooting and optimization for voice, data, and contact center networks, resolving issues related to connectivity, call quality, routing, agent performance, and system performance; Deploy and maintain secure Computer network, IP Telephone collaboration, and contact center architectures with softphones; Monitor and optimize network, collaboration, and contact center infrastructure, conducting capacity planning and upgrades to support client scalability and growth; Configure and manage Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) and Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) environments; Perform enterprise-wide migrations of Cisco UC and contact center clusters (CUCM, Unity Connection, CER, UCCX, UCCE) from older versions to 14.x to support multi-site call routing and contact center call flows, integrating with third-party applications and Integrate Cisco UC and contact center solutions with client-specific applications, ensuring seamless communication and agent workflows. Will provide services to clients throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel/relocate. Travel required to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.
Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Technology, or a related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Special Requirements:
Position requires experience or education in the following skills:
- 1. Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection (CUC), and M&P;
- 2. Cisco Voice Gateways (CUBE, H.323, SIP, MGCP), SRST, and SIP trunking;
- 3. Enterprise Routing & Switching (Cisco ISR/ASR, Catalyst, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel);
- 4. Quality of Service (QoS) configuration and network security (ACLs, IPsec VPNs, Cisco ASA/Firepower); and
- 5. Cisco Emergency Responder (CER), InformaCast Paging, Cisco unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE), and network monitoring tools (Cisco Prime, Wireshark, SolarWinds).
